Bolotianyk Figurine, Silver-Painted
$35.00
Silver-painted polymer resin figurine of Bolotianyk, the swamp spirit of Ukrainian folklore. Made in Ukraine.
Bolotianyk is an evil spirit, the master of the swamp in Ukrainian beliefs. He is described as a creature covered in mud, weeds and silt. He is said to lure people and cattle into the bog by imitating familiar sounds or lighting deceptive will-o’-the-wisps. Unlike the water spirit Vodianyk, he never leaves his swamp.
We make each figurine from polymer resin and paint it silver by hand, so shades and small details vary slightly from piece to piece.
A good choice for a figurine collection, for anyone who loves handmade work, or as a gift.
Details:
• Material: polymer resin
• Hand-painted in silver
• Size: ~60 × 75 × 95 mm (~2.4 × 3 × 3.7 in), L × W × H
• Weight: ~58 g (~2 oz)
• Handmade in Ukraine by Ostvytsia
