Vodianyk Figurine, Silver-Painted
$35.00
Silver-painted polymer resin figurine of Vodianyk, the master spirit of rivers and lakes in Slavic mythology. Made in Ukraine.
Vodianyk is the master spirit of waters in Slavic mythology, embodying the element of water and its unpredictable power. He was imagined as a sturdy creature covered in river silt and weeds, living in deep whirlpools, under mill wheels or in crystal palaces at the bottom of rivers and lakes. He rules the water dwellers, may help fishermen with their catch and, when angry, break dams or mills.
We make each figurine from polymer resin and paint it silver by hand, so shades and small details vary slightly from piece to piece.
A good choice for a figurine collection, for anyone who loves handmade work, or as a gift.
Details:
• Material: polymer resin
• Hand-painted in silver
• Size: ~70 × 70 × 100 mm (~2.8 × 2.8 × 3.9 in), L × W × H
• Weight: ~50 g (~1.8 oz)
• Handmade in Ukraine by Ostvytsia
