Vodianytsia Figurine, Silver-Painted

Silver-painted polymer resin figurine of Vodianytsia, the beautiful water maiden of Ukrainian folklore. Made in Ukraine.

Vodianytsia is a mythical creature in female form who lives in lakes, rivers and ponds. She resembles a mermaid: a beautiful girl with long braids woven with river flowers. With laughter, weeping or calling she lures people to the water’s edge, and whoever gives in risks drowning.

We make each figurine from polymer resin and paint it silver by hand, so shades and small details vary slightly from piece to piece.

A good choice for a figurine collection, for anyone who loves handmade work, or as a gift.
